This policy explains what ThumbnailGPT collects, why, and your choices. We collect the minimum needed to run the Service.
What we collect
Your email and account details; the photos you upload for Characters; the images and YouTube links you add for Styles; the scripts you paste; and the thumbnails and titles you generate. We also store billing records (not your card details).
How we use it
To create your Characters and Styles, generate titles and thumbnails, enforce usage limits and credits, process payments, and provide support. We do not sell your data.
Who processes your data
Hosting and database: Supabase. AI generation: routed through OpenRouter to Google's Gemini image and text models. Payments: Razorpay (your card details are handled by Razorpay, not by us). These processors receive only what is needed to perform their function.
Storage and security
Your uploads and generated outputs are stored in private buckets and served only through short-lived signed links. Each account can access only its own data, enforced at the database level.
Retention and deletion
We keep your content while your account is active. You can delete your Characters, Styles, and account; deleting removes the associated files. Billing records may be retained as required by law.
AI watermark
Generated images carry Google's invisible SynthID watermark. We disclose this so you know what you are publishing.
Your choices and contact
You can update or delete your data from within the app. For privacy questions or deletion requests, contact support@thethumbnailgpt.com.
